Classroom Management

Classroom Management Sites

Interactive websites can be wonderful tools when it comes to classroom management. Here, you will find three sites we have used in the classroom - Class Dojo, GoNoodle, and Bouncy Balls.

Hands On Classroom Management

We have also used "hands on" classrooms management systems. These allow students themselves to take control of the system and have a physical item which represents their goal. Here, you will find examples of the Golden Ticket and Room 206 Rocks systems we have used.

Class Wide
Classroom-Wide Behavior System

Recently, we have used a class-wide behavior system that helped us with self-control. At the beginning of every week, we chose a spelling word from our list that was no more than 10 letters long. Our goal was to have most (if not all) of our letters left at the end of the week. If we did, we earned things such as GoNoodle videos or erasers.

Classroom Atmosphere

It is important that students are proud of their work and have to opportunity to display their work. It is also important that students enjoy learning and can do so in a space that is both comfortable and allows them to remain focused. It is also important that learning is fun!
