Fun Facts
Every morning, I would write a new fun fact on the board for students to read. Most of the facts were related to science or history, but we found them interesting every time. Did you know that a waterfall in Hawaii sometimes goes up instead of down?

April Showers Bring May Flowers
At the beginning of Spring, we wrote "Storm Stories" using adverbs to describe storms and how they made us feel. We also wrote cinquian poems about our favorite flowers. Our hallway looked like a field of flowers afters a summer rain storm. We were so proud of all of our hard work!

Phonemic Hints
Sometimes, learning English can be very difficult. Especially when it comes to the tricky sounds, digraphs, and blends. These posters were created to help remind English Learners of how to use these different sounds to help them read and speak. Not all students are visual learners, but sometimes having a visual reminder can be helpful.
